Last week I posted about the HoCo Office of Law being told by the county exec to turn a blind eye towards campaigns that ignore the county ordinance prohibiting yard signs before July 16th. Now, according to this story by Sarah Breitenbach in the Columbia Flier, the exec has gone public with his policy.
“In light of recent court rulings, County Executive Kenneth Ulman has instructed the Department of Inspections, Licenses and Permits to ignore portions of the sign code that impose restrictions on the size, location and duration of display of campaign signs.”
