Locks of Love

Peanut has had very long hair since she was at least five years old. Over the years, I have gently cajoled her to consider getting it cut shorter but up until last week she resisted. When she told me she was ready for the big cut I immediately made an appointment for her at Cavallaro & Co in The Mall.

Last night, when we arrived, Becky Wibberley told her about Locks of Love. Locks of Love “is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.” Peanuts long locks were the perfect candidate for donation.

We mailed off her “locks of love” this morning.
