The Bentleys Roll into Town

The Bentleys rolled into Ellicott City this morning. The old mill town was the official starting point for the vintage car tour that will cruise up to New England then back down to Williamsburg until finally culminating on the Eastern Shore in late September.
It was a picture perfect morning in Howard County and many folks took advantage of that and turned out to give the old cars a good send off.

The first Bentley on the scene was this 1954 vintage model owned by Gene Sauter of Ellicott City. Gene isn’t participating in the tour but when he heard about the tribal gathering of Bentley owners he couldn’t resist bringing his down to see its cousins

The inside joke with the Bentley crowd is that Rolls Royce’s have owners while Bentleys have drivers.
