Tomorrow, April 26th is Jim Rouse’s birthday. Coincidentally it is also the day of the Columbia village elections. Getting out and voting would be a nice way to honor the memory of the guy who dreamed up Columbia in the first place.Jim Rouse had a profound impact on my life and my career. His philosophy that “what ought to be can be” has always encouraged me when the going gets a little rough.
