I dropped by yesterday around 5:30 PM and snapped these photos. As a harbinger of things to come, the rain and the race started at the same time, around 4:00 PM.
The riders I saw seemed undaunted though. Most appeared ready to make the most of it.

It’s pretty interesting…someone with this same name, probably in her 60’s or so (just a guess) went into a Citibank in Chicago just this week with a large bag of change that she wanted to have...
Nice post https://virtual-staging.arc... .

I learn some new stuff from it too, thanks for sharing your information.

This was my first ever biking event.... wow what a rush. The rain was crazy and cold.... I didn't make my goal of 100 miles but did ride 81.9 miles. The rain slowed us down and we had to stop shortly after dark because we got too cold. However the 4 hours of riding in the pelting rain gave us memories that will last a life time... I figured our discomfort was far from those being treated for Cancer... and was thankful to be a part of such a wonderful event... I plan to ride again in 2010.
Carole,
Way to go!
Did they shut the ride down after dark or did some cyclists keep going?
