A big ol’ tree came crashing down in Ellicott City this morning blocking the intersection of Church Road and Main Street. As the tree came down it took some power lines with it which resulted in this fire.
Perhaps it is time to consider burying this spaghetti of power lines on Main Street.

I live in the Howard House and a couple friends in the building were just down the street when it happened. One huge ceramic piece fell onto a car and shattered all down the street. Places as far as the Arby's and the SuperFresh lost power but they've got power to most of the area except for Main Street now.
