Marc Fisher had a follow up story to the poinsettia tree saga in this mornings Washington Post. I think Marc's column yesterday was instrumental in causing the GGP about face on the tree. It appears that the new sheriff in town took control of the situation and showed mall management the error of their ways.

Wasn't it great to read Thursday morning Post that GGP changed their decision on the tree then Thursday evening to read the Flier an see GGP wasn't changing their position.
Weekly paper shouldn't try to be timely.
For the first time that I can ever remember, The Columbia Flier has updated their website with additional news.
They have an article with the news that the tree is coming back.
