According to this story by Larry Carson in The Sun, site work and demolition has officially begun on the Columbia Wegmans store.It will still be awhile before it opens though but at least we can now see physical progress.

"Jo Natale, a company spokeswoman in Rochester, N.Y., said demolition of the warehouse, last used as a filming studio for the Baltimore-based HBO series " The Wire," should be complete by August's end."
ReplyDeleteSo that was were they were filming...it was always kept a mystery where exactly in Columbia when the show was shooting to keep curiosity seekers away.
