More Than Just Fifteen Thousand New Trees
The folks over at Columbia 2.0 have put up a nice little video tour of GGP’s proposed plans for Symphony Woods and Merriweather Post Pavilion. You can find the video here.
It's too important for Columbians and Howard County for the current economic conditions to dictate the eventual development of the downtown. I agree. However, I question the integrity of Sigaty who has posed as Liz Bobo's puppet in the recent past in the height limitations Liz and Lloyd tried to impose on the WCI tower. Is Sigaty still a puppet? She obviously is up front trying to lead the parade. Leadership is an interesting concept. What happens to a leader that no one will follow because they are predisposed to align themselves with someone who is unwilling to change with the times? I hope young Columbians are not mislead by Sigaty's friends who are more politically entrenched and willing to pursue their own agendas contrary to the best interests of the families to be in the new town. Let's get a plan in place which is acceptable to to both new and older Columbians and thumb our noses at the tiny minority what would have us limit our vision and aspirations. HH
How many old trees does GGP propose to kill and remove?
